PHOTO-PAINT VIDEO: The Difference Between Resolution and Measurement
In this video you'll learn about the relationship between resolution and the measured size of the image. One other wrinkle are the terms dots per inch (dpi) and pixels per inch (ppi). If you think of those two terms as meaning the same thing, that will reduce the confusion. In PHOTO-PAINT, you'll see that the measured size (in inches) can be drastically different than the measured size in pixels. They're not the same. Learning about resolution and measurement is extremely important, not just for PHOTO-PAINT, but for all other imaging applications, such as CoreDRAW, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, 3D applications and others. . . . keep reading

After the hard drive, the next bit of hardware to look at is the amount of RAM you have on your computer. The amount of RAM is another important factor governing how well your computer will run. As a case in point, let's say you have 2GB of RAM on your computer. That might appear to be enough, but if you're running multiple applications, especially graphics programs, that can eat up your RAM quickly. . . . keep reading

Which type of router to buy depends on your setup, as to whether that's for a LAN with cables only or a wireless setup for the home or office. For the most part we're going to look at the home setup. | Testimonials
"The Corel Photo-Paint X4 Insider is a wealth of information for anyone seeking to learn the program for the first time. Experienced users will find hidden nuggets of information long-overlooked that can invigorate their pixel-based editing. One of the challenges of any advanced software package like Corel Photo-Paint is the breadth of features offered. Nathan’s book paints with a broad brush to cover the major features and minor nuances of the image editing package."

After learning how to do image slicing from Nathan's FREE video clip, I started using it in almost every
Web project. Then one day everything started to scramble once I exported my files. After pulling out almost every single hair on my head, I found Nathan's contacts on the Web and called him. After a friendly and helpful Skype conversation, the mystery was solved. Halleluja!
I will definitely keep Nathan's contacts at hand when I'm using Photo-Paint. It would be worth every
penny (that I would gladly pay to solve my Corel Mysteries). Quick - Friendly - Knowledgeable.

"Impressive! I love the tutorials"
"Most tutorials just tell you what tools are in the program, but none of them actually show you how to use them....... that's where yours marks the difference...... you reveal the secrets and show how it's done."
Yours faithfully,
Nick Senon
"This one is a no-brainer. I read the book. I spent a few minutes doing the tweaks the author
recommends. And now my PC starts up and runs faster. I thought this might be complicated but it was quick and easy because of the clear instructions. Thanks for making me more productive every day."

"Nathan, Thank you for the info. I only had to do the first step and found a SQL program running from a trial program I already had deleted. It took all the sluggishness out of the computer. I also am a geezer and don't like to do much adjusting without some help. So once again....thanks."
